Top cryptocurrency prices today: Avalanche drops 3%; Bitcoin, Solana, and Shiba Inu sheds 2% each

Major crypto tokens were back in red but the prices remained in a decent vary. Trading with mixed cues in the early hours on Thursday. Solana and Shiba Inu dropped 2% each whereas avalanche
dropped 3%. Traders are waiting for a clear direction in the economy before making up their minds.

The global cryptocurrency market cap was trading almost flat at the $1.92 trillion mark, with marginal gains in the last 24 hours. Cryptocurrency prices, which have been highly correlated with stocks, again fit in with major indices.

Crypto prices, which have largely correlated to shares, dovetailed once more with main indices. Rising
inflationary worries and looming fears of the recession continued to weigh on investor sentiments and cryptos are struggling to recover from them.


Barring stable coin USD Coin, most tokens were trading lower on Thursday. The global cryptocurrency market capitalization was trading down at the $1.24 trillion mark, falling as much as 2 percent in the last 24 hours. However, the total cryptocurrency trading volume plunged more than 21 percent
to $66.44 billion.
